Grand Opening
Today was opening day for the Museum. Teachers were invited to browse and discuss ways to use the museum with their students. These are professional learning communities at their best! Lots of compliments and positive feedback. The museum could not be possible if it were not for many hands working together for a common goal. Thank you helping hands!
I cannot wait to bring my kids to see the museum on Friday! I always know they will come back to class with a greater understanding of both the sacrifices and accomplishments of some very wonderful people. We use this visit as a springboard for discussions and further research. Your hard work and excitement is inspiring to Truman students and faculty. Thank you for bringing this experience to us yet again!

Congratulations!! I love that the Grand Opening was on your birthday! And the website looks gorgeous! This is an incredible labor of love. Just think of how proud your momma and daddy would be of where you've taken this. I know they are in every single piece in this incredible collection.
